Tampa dance music fans are definitely in for a treat. The 2nd annual Sunset Music Festival has already signed some big names for the show. Steve Aoki is expected to be there, but perhaps more intriguing is the fact that dance music superstar, DJ, and producer David Guetta is expected to be there, too. The May 25th festival will feature some of the hottest acts in dance, and fans are particularly looking forward to an appearance by David Guetta. Knife Party is another act that is expected to be part of the show. Over a dozen other DJs will also be on hand.

David Guetta is one of the hottest DJs on the planet right now. He could very easily go anywhere in the world he wants to do a show. And the spring and summer are already shaping up to be very busy indeed for one of the most sought-after performers and collaborators in the business today. Guetta has a number of engagements lined up, but he recently created some intense speculation amongst fans and press when it was announced that he would visit the Azerbaijani capital of Baku. David Guetta is expected to visit and perform there on May 1st of this year.

French DJ David Guetta first scored a million in digital sales with his 2009 Black Eyed Peas collaboration “I Gotta Feeling” (which he produced and co-wrote). That was the first million sales hit, but it’s no longer the only one on his resume. His new single, entitled “Titanium”, has proven to be hugely popular with even the most casual fans of electronic music. The single has now officially passed the one million mark for digital sales, and this should only serve to continue the DJ’s incredible momentum as he prepares for a number of exciting ventures over the course of 2013.

Electric Daisy Carnival is one the biggest and hottest electric dance festivals of the year. With David Guetta on the bill for the Chicago show, this year could potentially be the biggest one ever for fans of the festival. David Guetta is certainly one of the most popular acts on the scene right now, and his addition to the festival at Joliet’s Chicagoland Speedway will likely make the three-day spectacular one of the most exciting tickets of the summer for music fans. Names for the event are still being announced, but artists such as Michael Mayer and Tiga have already been announced.

David Guetta (born November 7th, 1967 in Paris) is a French DJ. He was the pioneer of French house with “Up & away,” a garage-style track with vocals by Robert Owens released in 1994 "“ really made a name for himself in the mid-90s as one of the key catalysts of Parisian nightlife by promoting evenings at such renowned Paris hot spots as Folies Pigalle, Queen, Bataclan, Palace and Les Bains, where he invited DJ legends like Little Louie Vega, David Morales, DJ Pierre and Roger Sanchez to join him on the turntables. In 2001, however, he went back to his first love: making music. Launched by the single “Just A Little More Love,” an electro-funk-house cocktail featuring Chris Willis of the band nashville on vocals, David Guetta's first album was released by Virgin in June 2002 and went on to sell 250,000 copies. This resounding success carried through in the album’s second, even more devastating single, “Love Don’t Let Me Go,” a track reminiscent of Moroder’s techno-disco style crossed with Depeche Mode’s new-wave sound. Like fellow Frenchman Laurent Garnier, David started off his career in the gay clubs around Paris. Les Halles district in the mid-80s, going on to make a name for himself in acid-house and hip-hop.
