Katy Perry and Lady Gaga are both at the top of Demi Lovato�s list to replace Brittany Spears and LA Reid on The X Factor. Lovato recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to discuss the show in general, and she was quick to suggest that both Gaga and Katy Perry would be ideal choices to appear on the hit show as judges. No word has come about from either Perry or Gaga as to whether or not they would be interested in such an opportunity, but fans around the world are already speculating wildly as to the possibilities of both joining the show.

Katy Perry has been known for her relationships, and it would appear that her latest one is at an end. Latest ex-boyfriend John Mayer recently appeared on Ellen to confirm rumors that he has indeed split from Katy Perry. The singer-songwriter avoided general details about the nature of his breakup from Perry, but the news does come as a surprise to those who saw the couple seemingly quite happy during any one of their appearances together in public. Perry and Mayer did indeed have a brief split after beginning their romance last summer, but after getting back together they seemed stronger than ever.

Katy Perry is understandably eager to get rid of the sprawling, expensive home she shared with former husband and comedian Russell Brand, but that�s apparently easier said than done. Things have not gone according to plan for the pop diva, and sources are suggesting that she may have to settle for losing as much as 2 million dollars before she can finally sell it. Perry had hoped to get offload the house for a cool 8 million dollars, but that possibility is becoming less and less likely, and it�s almost a certainty at this point that the singer must settle for less.

Anyone eager to know it all about Katy Perry�s life, particularly her recent divorce from comedian Russell Brand, will get their chance in the near future. Katy Perry has just signed a 2 million dollar book deal. Brand intends to address the brief union in his own biography, and Katy Perry has already indicated that she plans to disclose everything about the relationship when her own book comes out. A release date for the book has not been set, but it�s unlikely that fans will have to wait a very long time. She previously discussed the divorce in her 2012 concert film.

Since the release of her 2007 debut single “Ur So Gay”, Perry has released two albums - 2008’s “One of the Boys” and 2010’s “Teenage Dream” - and has had six Billboard Hot 100 #1 hit singles.
