Fans of Ke$ha continue to wonder what the singer’s new MTV reality show, Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life”, might be about when it debuts on MTV April 23rd. Some fans are hoping the show highlights her love of animals. The work she has done for animals has not gone unnoticed by her millions of followers. It certainly hasn’t gone unnoticed by the Humane Society of the United States. The organization recently noted her tireless contributions to causes involving animals by giving her a prestigious Genesis Award at a recent gala. Ke$ha is reportedly thrilled with the distinction, and posted a photo on Twitter.

Pop superstar Ke$ha has mentioned her huge crush on actor Johnny Depp before. The singer of “Die Young” recently disclosed that she and Depp may have perhaps shared a moment at a recent benefit concert. The concert itself was intended to raise money for victims of Superstorm Sandy, and although the show certainly succeeded in doing that, the big moment for Ke$ha seems to be the special moment she thinks shared with Depp. Johnny Depp has not commented on the matter, but Ke$ha is apparently pretty confident that she and the actor shared an intimate moment of eye contact at the concert.

Ke$sha fans have quite a bit to look forward to. The “C’mon” singer has a new MTV reality series coming out in April, and she’s juggling that with an upcoming appearance at the Nickelodeon’s 26th Annual Kids’ Choice Awards on March 23rd. The Kids’ Choice Awards is routinely one of the biggest award shows of the year, and with Christina Aguilera and Pitbull rounding out the entertainment portion of the show, 2013 doesn’t look like it’s going to be any different. Regarding the show, Ke$ha has released a statement expressing how excited she is to be performing at the event.

A number of celebrities have already applauded Europe’s ban on selling any products that have been tested on animals, including Chrissie Hynde and Joanna Lumley, and now Ke$ha has joined a growing list of artists who couldn’t be happier with Europe’s recent decision. The “Tik Tok” hitmaker has already firmly established her views on animal rights. She is the global ambassador for The Humane Society, and has spoken candidly in the past of her views on such topics as animal cruelty. Ke$ha expressed her pleasure with Europe’s recent decision with a brief, but passionate open letter to the press and world at large.

Kesha Rose Sebert (born March 1, 1987 in Los Angeles, United States), better known mononymously as Kesha (stylized as Ke$ha or K$), is an American recording artist. An active singer since before 2005, her breakthrough came in early 2009 after appearing on Flo Rida’s number one single Right Round. Ke$ha later supported Calvin Harris on tour in the UK and toured with Mickey Avalon in the US. She also performed at Madison Square Garden on December 11, 2009 for the Z100 Jingle Ball. She was announced as one of the acts for the 2010 revival of Lilith Fair and presented at the 52nd Grammy Awards. Her debut album, entitled Animal, was released on January 5, 2010 in the US to mixed reviews from music critics. The album sold 152,000 copies in its first week in the US, debuting at number one. Animal was seven years in the making and resulted in Ke$ha’s accumulating over two hundred songs by the time of its release, with fourteen making the final cut. A number one placing in New Zealand for the first single TiK ToK (first released on August 7, 2009) gave Ke$ha her first solo number one; this was followed by number one positions in Canada, Australia, Norway and the United States, reaching the top of the Billboard Hot 100 as the first number one of the 2010 decade.
