Nicki Minaj is no stranger to having beefs with other performers. She recently added American Idol performer Devin Velez to the list when the two exchanged some harsh words over Twitter recently. Velez was quick to criticize Nicki Minaj for her behavior after a performance of Velez�s didn�t go perfectly on Idol. Minaj returned Velez�s criticisms with a few of her own, and the two have been trading Twitter jabs ever seen. This feud isn�t expected to escalate anymore than it already has, but it has given Velez a bit of extra attention after being eliminated from the hit show recently.

Speculation by fans and press regarding the next album by rapper Nicki Minaj continues to run rampant. Nicki Minaj herself doesn�t seem to be helping matters any. The artist surprised everyone recently by suggesting the next album won�t be part of her Pink Friday releases at all. Nicki Minaj has thus far included Pink Friday in the title of all her releases so far, but is now saying that she�s been considering lately the appeal of starting a whole new chapter with her life and music. And that would of course mean ditching the old in favor of embracing something new.

Nicki Minaj doesn�t seem to be running out of things to keep herself occupied. The monstrously popular rapper and American Idol judge is getting ready to grace the cover of Elle Magazine in April. The cover photo is already getting attention for Minaj wearing pants, and an extremely provocative leather jacket, with the promise that readers will get to see the singer as they have never seen her before. And the association with Elle Magazine doesn�t just end there. Nicki Minaj will also be interviewing herself for the publication, asking such questions as what type of underwear she prefers to have on.

Los Angeles traffic can make people late for all kinds of things. It recently made rapper and American Idol judge Nicki Minaj late for a live American Idol show. Host Ryan Seacrest kept fans in the audience up to date on Minaj�s whereabouts, while Nicki Minaj herself tweeted several times on the status of the traffic jam that was keeping her from making it to the show on time. And she did make it, but was unfortunately 15 minutes late. This caused her to miss the first contest to go on stage to perform that night, but she was there for the rest.
