The IPL 6 opening ceremony was quite the star-studded event. Notable names from both Hollywood and Bollywood were all in attendance for the event, and organizers were thrilled to announce that U.S. rapper Pitbull would be added to the list of performers who had committed to being on hand for the ceremony. Shah Rukrh Khan and Katrina Kaif were also both in attendance to perform at the proceedings. Pitbull has gone on record as saying what an enormous honor it was to take part. It took place April 2nd, and the performer was also joined by a slew of other acts.

Pitbull is set to the second American artist that will collaborate with Priyanka Chopra on a single that hopes to find international appeal. Chopra has already worked with Will.I.Am on a single that has seen some impressive success, and it�s her hope that working with a star such as Pitbull will only further her notoriety with American music fans. Pitbull is reportedly very excited that he will soon be able to add his own portion of the duet soon. Chopra has already reportedly hit Miami to record her own part of what everyone involved is hoping will be a hit for all involved.

The internet craze surrounding Baauer�s �Harlem Shake� doesn�t seem like it�s going to be disappearing anytime soon. Not if Miami rapper Pitbull has anything to say about it. The �Give Me Everything� performer has elicited a decidedly mixed response from fans around the world for using the monstrously popular viral hit to strike back at Lil Wayne, who himself recently drew some fire from the Miami community for dissing their basketball team. Pitbull isn�t the first rapper to use the dance hit for his own purposes, but he�s certainly the most famous. Some love the track. Others aren�t as crazy about it.

Rapper Pitbull has one less thing to worry about now. A New York court agreed to his lawyers� motion to dismiss a lawsuit brought against him by Lindsay Lohan some months ago. The lawsuit stemmed from a reference Pitbull made about the troubled actress in the track �Give Me Everything�, which has been a massive hit for the rap star since it dropped in 2011. Lohan tried to invoke Sections 50 and 51 of the New York Civil Rights Law, but was unsuccessful in doing so. The court ruled that Lohan�s complaint in no way applied to either section of the cited laws.

Armando Christian Pérez (born January 15, 1981 in Miami, Florida), better known by the stage name Pitbull , is a Cuban-American rapper signed to his own label, Mr 305 Inc. The Give Me Everything (Tonight) Songfacts reports that he adopted his canine moniker because, “They bite to lock. The dog is too stupid to lose. And they’re outlawed in Dade County. They’re basically everything that I am. It’s been a constant fight.” His first recorded performance was on Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz album Kings of Crunk in 2002, after which he released his debut album, M.I.A.M.I., in 2004. He has since released 2006’s El Mariel, 2007’s The Boatlift and 2009’s Rebelution, which debuted at #8 on the Billboard 200. Pitbull’s breakout hit was the Lil Jon collabo “Culo” produced by Lil Jon & The Diaz Brothers. In addition, Pitbull has also released several mixtapes, the most recent being Unleashed Volume 6, which are mostly composed of freestyles and remixes of popular rap music. Both thematically and musically, the 25-year-old is seen as a modern-day equivalent of earlier Miami rappers such as the 2 Live Crew and Afro-Rican. It was in fact former 2 Live Crew leader Luther Campbell who gave the up and coming rapper his first chance to shine.
