April will prove to be a very busy month indeed for Selena Gomez. The singer and actress is already receiving rave reviews for her performance in the film Spring Breakers. She will also perform on April 14th at the MTV Movie Awards, where she will debut her new single “Come and Get It.” She will then head to Oklahoma right after her performance to begin filming her role in William H. Macy’s directorial debut Rudderless. The film will also feature Laurence Fishburne, Macy, Felicity Huffman, Anton Yelchin, and Billy Crudup. Selena Gomez is reportedly very excited to begin work on her role.

The film has already gained considerable buzz for its style, and for featuring Selena Gomez in her most mature role to date. Parents who only know the singer for her music and more kid-friendly roles might be tempted to bring their children to see Gomez’s latest flick. Gomez warns against doing this, adding that the film’s racier aspects might not be suitable for smaller children. Gomez will be turning 21 this year.
