Thelma 04 24 2013, 20:22 The 2013 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is already shaping up to an unforgettable event, and with talent like Usher on board it can only get better. Usher is just one of the artists who have signed to participate as one of the performers who will pay tribute to the 2013 class of inductees. Usher in particular will be performing for new inductee Quincy Jones. The singer and The Voice judge has expressed his admiration for the legendary Jones many times in the past, and it makes sense to everyone involved that he be on hand for the festivities.
Brenda 04 08 2013, 14:20 No one can say that superstar singer and The Voice judge Usher has forgotten where he came from. The native of Chattanooga, TN made mention of his hometown on a recent episode of the show. Usher was trying to convince one of the aspiring talents to join his side, and when the contestant mentioned that she had started out singing in church, Usher replied that he had, too. He mentioned St. Elmo Missionary Baptist Church, which fans of the artist know was an important part of his formative years. St Elmo Missionary Baptist Church was home to his childhood choir.
Amber 03 25 2013, 14:33 Usher might be on a judge on one of the hottest reality shows on television, but that doesn’t mean the producer and songwriter isn’t performing anymore. Usher recently finished up a long series of oversea dates that saw him play before enthusiastic, packed crowds in Nice, Munich, Lyon, Zurich, Paris, Stuttgart, Malmo, Helsinki, Stockholm, Hamburg, Oslo, Amsterdam, and several other locales.
Reception to the tour has been overwhelmingly positive, which is leading many to hope that Usher will find his way back to these cities again. No one from Usher’s camp has said anything, but the hope that he returns soon is high.
Jason 03 16 2013, 11:52 The tragic death of Kile Glover, the stepson of Voice judge and recording artist Usher, may finally find the closure it so desperately needs. Reports indicate that an arrest in the July 2012 accident has been made. Jeffrey Simon Hubbard has been arrested and charged with the death of the child, which saw Hubbard strike Glover with his jet ski while the boy was on an inflatable raft at a Georgia lake, and is currently being held without bail. Usher has not offered any comments towards this latest development, and it’s unknown if he will at any point in the near future.
