Madonna Teases New Music as a Valentine’s Day Surprise

Madonna is spreading the love this Valentine's season with an exciting surprise for her fans—new music in the making. On Thursday (Feb. 13), the global icon took to Instagram a slideshow of photos of behind-the-scenes glimpses of her recent studio sessions. The photos feature her singing vocals, drumming on the drums, and working with producer Stuart Price. There are even photos of her children stopping by to give mom some love.

“My Valentine’s Day gift to all my fans is to let you know I’m putting my heart and soul into my new music,” the seven-time Grammy winner announced. “I can’t wait to share it with you!!”

A Long-Awaited Sequel to Confessions on a Dance Floor

The pop icon fueled speculation that her upcoming project will be a continuation of her 2005 album Confessions on a Dance Floor, which topped the Billboard 200. Her latest post follows a December revelation that she had reunited with Price, the producer behind Confessions. At the time, she enthusiastically declared on Instagram, “Songwriting and making music is the one area where I don’t need to ask anyone for their permission. I’m so excited to share it with you. Who wants to hear new music in 2025?”

Adding to the anticipation, she also posted a photo late December with Price on X (formerly Twitter), hinting at Confessions on a Dance Floor Part 2.

A Busy Year Beyond Music

Although she's spending time on new music, Madonna isn't limiting herself to one creative pursuit in 2025. The Queen of Pop has also been trying her hand at comedy, with a surprise appearance at New York City's Comedy Cellar in January. Teaming up with Amy Schumer, she delivered original stand-up to an intimate audience.

Moreover, Madonna is still determined to bring her life to the big screen, as she continues to work on a biopic of her legendary career. Fans can expect a year full of creative endeavors from the legendary artist.
