Miley Cyrus Thanks Beyoncé Following Grammy Victory for 'II Most Wanted'

Miley Cyrus added to her storied career at the Grammys on Sunday evening (Feb. 2), earning her third Grammy award. In the wake of the esteemed moment, she posted a message on Instagram to reflect on the distinction.

Along with a collection of breathtaking photos highlighting her bespoke black Alaïa outfits, Cyrus penned, "Last night at the @recordingacademy. Hearing your name called out is a moment to be celebrated. But for all those who don't, remember that nothing can diminish the passion and focus you bring to your craft. I want to recognize and celebrate the artists whose work may go unseen but still make something beautiful for the world to share."

A Special Thanks to Beyoncé

Cyrus made sure to offer her genuine appreciation to Beyoncé for collaborating with her on the track "II Most Wanted." She shared words of thanks, stating, "Thank you @beyonce for inviting me to be part of your legendary Cowboy Carter era. Love you forever."

The joint effort from the two singing giants earned a Grammy award under the Best Country Duo/Group Performance category. This was Cyrus' third-ever Grammy and also the 33rd career award for Beyoncé.

Tough Competition in the Category

"II Most Wanted" took home a hard-fought category, outdoing stiff competition in the form of "Cowboys Cry Too" by Kelsea Ballerini and Noah Kahan, "Break Mine" by Brothers Osborne, "Bigger Houses" by Dan + Shay, and "I Had Some Help" by Post Malone featuring Morgan Wallen.

Beyoncé's victory at the event was not restricted to her collaboration with Cyrus. Beyoncé was also named the winner of Best Country Album for Cowboy Carter during CBS Live News, a first win in her career. The album also received the highly coveted Album of the Year award, the first win by Beyoncé in said awards. With another record-breaking night at the Grammys, Miley Cyrus and also Beyoncé continue to leave their footprint on the music industry.
