In the Darkness Lyrics

I’ve been searchin’, I’ve been lookin’, in the darkness

You’ve been waiting, You’ve been hiding, in the darkness

Dance with me and you’ll discover - there’s nothing left to fear

Far from the light, redemption finds us here – yes, here

I will find you, I will find you in the darkness

I will hold you, I will hold you in the darkness

Under the lights, the music plays on - We leave the world behind

Stay with me, and hold forever the magic that we’ll find

Chorus:

And the spinning ball turned and the lights brightly flashed

So our hearts’ fire burned and the people they danced, so

We’ll lift ourselves up while our hearts come alive

And our lives are redeemed when I kiss you tonight - Tonight

I will love you, I will love you, in the darkness

We’ll surrender, To forever in the darkness

Open your eyes, you’ll find me waiting - I’ll keep you safe from harm

All that you have ever needed is waiting in my arms

Chorus:

We’ll be feeling it soon as the music plays on

And we’re hearing the tune that will soon be our song now

The dancing begins and we’re feeling the flow

I’ll be taking your hand and I’m not letting go - Won’t let go

Down on my knees in the night

Prayin’ for hope, for the light now

Freeing ourselves to love just as we want

Open your eyes, you’ll find me waiting - You’ll be safe from harm

All that you have ever needed is waiting in my arms

And the spinning ball turned and the lights brightly flashed

So our hearts’ fire burned and the people they danced

Chorus:

And the spinning ball turned and the lights brightly flashed

So our hearts’ fire burned and the people they danced, so

We’ll lift ourselves up while our hearts come alive

And our lives are redeemed when I kiss you tonight

Chorus:

Let the music play on, and we’re hearing the tune

That will soon be our song now

The dancing begins and we’re feeling the flow

I’ll be taking your hand and I’m not letting go - Won’t let go
