Remember or Not Lyrics

Verse 1

Another Friday night in Tennessee

I was throwing back that remedy

To a work week, my buddies and me

We are having a good time

Then you walked in and my plans

Change when I tried to get your name

All I recall's your pretty face

Sayin' “Long as you're buyin'”

Chorus

We could throw a couple back

Cut ourselves some slack

Find us two old empty bar stools

And we could wander out on the floor

Dance, till they lock up the doors

Who cares if we act like fools

Laughing and loving and giving it all we got

Let's take our shot

And make some memories whether we remember or not

Verse 2

Seems like the days are flying by

Tween kids and work, and early nights

Don't get me wrong, I love our life

But ain't been much time for you and me

Yeah, it hit me hard here recently

It's been way too long girl so I think tonight

Chorus

We could throw a couple back

Cut ourselves some slack

Find us two old empty bar stools

And we could wander out on the floor

Dance, till they lock up the doors

Who cares if we act like fools

Laughing and loving and giving it all we got

Let's take our shot

And make some memories whether we remember or not

Pre-Chorus

Yeah, one day when we're old and gray

And those memories seem so far away

I'll dig back through our yesterdays

To hear you say

Chorus

We could throw a couple back

Cut ourselves some slack

Find us two old empty bar stools

And we could wander out on the floor

Dance, till they lock up the doors

Who cares if we act like fools

Laughing and loving and giving it all we got

Let's take our shot

And make some memories whether we remember or not

Make some memories whether we remember it or not

Yeah, woah

Ah, whether we remember or not
