Forgotten Lyrics

A younger man was he

Put us on his knee

And told us stories

Of princes and dragons

The minstrel played our song

And we all sang along

And everything he told us

Was shining in our hearts

We will not be forgotten

Listen close for the spirit is moving

The tale continues on

The prince has found his throne

And sparks the ground with fireflies

He looks into the sky

He never wonders why

The blood will flow but never dry

We will not be forgotten no

Listen close for the spirit is moving

Along this lonely road back to my heart

The king removes his cloak

Youth his only hope

Touching the joining lips of love

At eventide hoping to understand
