Write About Me Lyrics
LyricsSuggest a correction ↗
Sometimes I feel like I’ll never win
Me and my guitar are stuck again
I’ve been searching everywhere, trying to pull things
from the air
She said, I can help you there
Write about me
Tell me you love me
Write about me
Tell me a story
Just sing a love song so I can sing along
Write about me
But make it a good one
Simple and free
A sentimental melody
If a little inspiration is all that you need, then
Write about me
So I took up her advice
I’ll never make that same mistake twice
‘Cause she never liked the song, now we barely get
along
How can I turn this right from wrong
Write about me
Tell me you love me
Write about me
Tell me a story
Just sing a love song so I can sing along
Write about me
But make it a good one
Simple and free
A sentimental melody
If a little inspiration is all that you need
Yeah
Open your heart, tear down the wall
What are you waiting for?
Well there’s a rhyme for words I cannot find
So what I’m I to talk about this time …
Write about me
Tell me you love me
Write about me
Tell me a story
Just sing a love song
And the world will sing along
Write about me
But make it a good one
Simple and free
Together with some harmony
If a little inspiration is all you need …
