This Time of Year Lyrics

Once long ago

Angels awoke shepherds in snow

to speak of a son, save everyone

Some are alive, some are alone

And tidings of joy

cut through the phone calling me home

come from afar

follow the star

chorus:

And we'll have a merry Christmas

When you fill your hearts with cheer

I will love you every season

but you warm me up the most

This time of year

And now that we're here

troubles will stay so far away

for everyone it has begun

And we'll have a merry Christmas

When you fill your hearts with cheer

I will love you every season

but you warm me up the most

This time of year
