Old Flame Lyrics

My day started

Broken hearted

Like an old time country song

Right then I knew

All I had to do

Was pick up the telephone

I dialed the number

An old familiar number

I prayed hadn’t changed

I knew the word, every single word

That my heart wanted to say

Ooo ooo baby

I still love you so

Ooo ooo

There’s a burning deep down in my soul

I want us back to together

I’m talking about forever

And I ain’t playing no games

Do you want to start a fire with an old flame?

Do you want to start a fire with an old flame?

Do you want to start a fire with an old flame?

Do you want to start a fire with an old flame?

The phone kept ringing

Just kept on ringing

A hundred times or more

I finally gave up

I had to hang up

When a knock came a knockin’ on my door

I couldn’t believe it

I could hardly conceive it

You were standing right in front of me

I thought I was dreamin’

I said I must be dreaming

Until she turned around and said to me

Oooo ooo baby

I still love you so

Oooo ooo

There’s a burning deep down in my soul

There’s a burning deep down in my soul

I want us back to together

I’m talking about forever

And I ain’t playing no games

Do you want to start a fire with an old flame?

Do you want to start a fire with an old flame?

Do you want to start a fire with an old flame?

Do you want to start a fire with an old flame?

Now we’re back together

We’re talking about forever

We ain’t playing no games

Nooo noo

I started up a fire with an old flame

She started up a fire with an old flame

Yeah, we started up a fire with an old flame

Now we’re dancing by the fire with an old flame

Yeahh yah yah yeah

Old flame, baby
