Head In the Clouds Lyrics

[Verse 1]
I'm tired of waiting for the breeze
To come shake the leaves down off of these trees
And bring this summer to an end
So everything can finally start over again

[Pre-Chorus]
And I know we don't say what we mean
And everything ain't what it seems

[Chorus]
But for now, I got my head in the clouds
Cause I know they'll always be around
Head in the clouds
Cause I know they're never gonna let me down
Head in the clouds, ooh
Head in the clouds, ooh

[Verse 2]
I'm pulling my head out of the sand
In an attempt to comprehend
Just how birds stay in the sky
Nothing to learn, just need a good reason to fly

[Pre-Chorus]
And I know we don't say what we mean
And everything ain't what it seems

[Chorus]
But for now, I got my head in the clouds
Cause I know they'll always be around
Head in the clouds
Cause I know they're never gonna let me down
Head in the clouds, ooh
Head in the clouds, ooh

[Bridge]
Those raindrops must be lying
Cause nobody's gonna catch me crying

[Outro]
Head in the clouds
Head in the clouds
Head in the clouds
Head in the clouds
Cause I know they'll always be around
Head in the clouds
Cause I know they're never gonna let me down
Head in the clouds
Head in the clouds
