while I was still in elementary schoolI discovered Daddy's toolsand amassed a small pile, of scrap lumberand I built a rabbit boxand i set it facing northbut i caught a possum and a kittenboth of which were a bitch to set freecause I thought they were going to bite mebut we all three escaped safelywell once I took my single shotgunand put on my camouflageand hid in the neighbour's pasture by the little cow pondand finally after a long timea bunch of doves flew byand landed in a huddle on the power lineand so I aimed with an eagle's eye and firedbut it was two pigeons that fell like bean bags into the weedswell they sure looked like doves to me
