Gigantic has told Sam Fender fans to keep their confirmed Newcastle bookings after stopping a disrupted presale. Suspicious traffic caused a gateway error during the sale, the ticket company said on October 28. It blocked the traffic, halted the presale and began investigating what had happened.

“If you have a confirmed order, you do not need to do anything,” the company wrote. That is the useful starting point for a buyer wondering whether to try again. The message protects the status of a completed booking; someone who only reached an error screen still needs to establish whether an order was completed.

The shows themselves remain on the calendar. Fender is due at St James’ Park on June 3 and 5, 2027, with Wunderhorse also appearing. Gates open at 4pm. General sales are advertised for Friday, October 30 at 9:30am UK time, subject to availability. For a fan following from Turkey, that is 12:30pm. The listings were checked on October 29.

This comes soon after the removal of premium front standing and revision of stadium ticket prices. Fans have had to follow changes to both the tickets on offer and the way they are being sold. The earlier announcement dealt with categories and base prices. Gigantic’s statement deals with the interrupted Newcastle presale and the orders already placed through it.

There is a little more work for anyone without a confirmation email. Newcastle’s published guidance says to check the junk and spam folders first, then ask the agent that took the booking. That is a more useful check than treating a gateway error as proof that a transaction either succeeded or failed. The agent can look at the actual order.

Even a successful booking will not produce the admission ticket straight away. Newcastle is using mobile digital tickets, with instructions to be emailed nearer the concerts. The confirmation received after buying is proof of purchase. At the venue, the phone will hold the ticket used to scan in. Keeping those two emails distinct should save some confusion in the months between the sale and the shows.

The FAQ sets a six-ticket limit per show date per household, and warns that duplicate accounts used to exceed the limit will be cancelled, along with detected bot purchases. Groups should read that condition before coordinating orders across accounts.

Accessible tickets are handled by Newcastle United, including presales. New online accounts can take up to four hours to be approved, the event page warns. For someone needing that route, registering ahead of the sale is a practical step to complete with the venue rather than leave until the standard queue opens.
