Spring trips to Nevada are pretty much a rite of passage. You dodge the awful mid-summer heat, but the crowds are still absolutely everywhere. Honestly, I was looking at the calendar for the next few weeks, and it’s wild. The sheer amount of live shows happening from mid-April straight through May is sort of hard to wrap your head around. We’re talking massive stadium crowds, quiet acoustic sets, and those weirdly specific legacy acts that pull people out of the woodwork.

Trying actually to plan an evening out takes real work now. Gone are the days when you could just wander down the street and casually grab a decent seat at the box office. Tickets disappear in seconds. You have to be strategic. Figuring out when to jump on a purchase feels a lot like sitting in your room playing online jetx on your phone—you either time it perfectly, or you miss out completely. So if you happen to be heading out there soon, here is what the actual lineup looks like.
Top Las Vegas Concerts & Shows: April and May 20262>
April 17 – 19: Phish @Sphere
Things start a bit weird, in a good way. The ultimate jam band is taking over that crazy new spherical venue everyone keeps posting about. Look, even if you don’t care about their whole 20-minute guitar solo aesthetic, the visuals alone are supposed to be insane. Hearing stuff like “You Enjoy Myself” or “Bouncing Around the Room” while the entire wall melts behind the stage? Probably worth going at least once.

April 24 – May 2: Cyndi Lauper @The Colosseum at Caesars Palace
Right after that, the whole mood changes. Cyndi is moving in for a short run. It’s basically a massive shot of 80s nostalgia. I mean, picture a room packed with people screaming every single word to “Girls Just Want to Have Fun.” It’s going to be chaos. And you already know “Time After Time” will be that specific moment where everyone suddenly holds up their phones. Should be a really fun, loud show.
May 1 – 9: Mary J. Blige @Dolby Live
Happening at almost the same time, we get the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul. This is her first real residency out there at Dolby Live at Park MGM. Which is crazy, because it feels like she should have done this a decade ago. Fans get the upbeat, danceable moments like “Family Affair,” but her shows always carry this heavy emotional weight too. When she finally hits the notes on “Real Love,” the energy in that building is going to be completely unmatched.
Starting May 6: No Doubt @Sphere
People have been begging for this reunion for years. They are finally back. Doing a super high-tech run of shows is a funny shift from their old gritty ska days, but it works. Hearing Gwen belt out “Don’t Speak” or “Just a Girl” live in 2026? Total time warp. I suspect these will be the hardest tickets to get your hands on all month.

May 9: Norah Jones @The Venetian Theatre at The Venetian Resort
If your ears are ringing from the rest of the week, this is your out. She is doing a quiet, stripped-down theater gig for one night only. It is a fantastic break from the endless neon flashing outside. Sit down, grab a drink, and just relax while she plays “Don’t Know Why” and “Come Away With Me.” A perfect, calm way to end a crazy trip.
Putting together a weekend out in the desert isn’t just about blackjack tables or overpriced steaks anymore. The live entertainment scene is arguably the main reason to go right now. There is nothing quite like that brief, collective second of silence right before the stage lights drop and the music hits. Book your stuff early, wear shoes that won’t ruin your feet, and just have a good time out there.
